REASON FOR EPSON PRINTER NOT PRINTING BLACK

Epson provided the reason for the Epson printer not printing black when the Color is empty. As explained by Epson, when a user commands the printer to print, the printer transports the ink from the cartridges to the paper. The printhead nozzle sprays the ink onto the paper, but when the ink cartridges are empty, the air replaces the ink causing damage to the print head. Due to lack of ink, this process ruins the vacuum effect required for the printhead to pull in ink to print. Please note that all remaining ink coagulates when the print nozzle sucks in the air instead of ink. In simpler words, the user will not be able to use the remaining ink. However, if you wish to Epson print without black ink, you can set your printer’s settings to monochrome printing. Doing so will enable your printer to print in black ink.
